BEI builds the LTracks Blueberry Harvester targeted for growers with less than 100 acres to harvest. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester is ideal for mechanically harvesting blueberry’s. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester uses tracks to propel the harvester through the field. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester is properly priced for the appropriately sized blueberry grower.
BEI kept the famous blueberry harvest features of it’s full size blueberry harvester, but at savings of thousands less. This blueberry harvester is very easy to operate. The tracks allow the blueberry harvester to have zero radius turning capability.
The blueberry harvesting system of LTracks Blueberry Harvester uses a sway type picking system or rotary head picking system, 9” bucket conveyors, and horn style blowers. There is plenty of on-board lug storage both on the sides and on the upper platform. The addition of the Centipede Scale System improves blueberry harvesting yield as much as 30% over the traditional catcher pan system.
The LTracks Blueberry Harvester uses hydraulics to power the harvester. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester uses a conventional steering wheel and a Forward/Reverse lever such as is found on BEI’s other self-propelled harvesters. Road speed on this harvester is engaged with a switch on the control panel.
The LTracks Blueberry Harvester has several other advantages. It also has 14” hydraulic lift for varying field conditions. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester is excellent to operate in soft ground. The LTracks Blueberry Harvester is easy to transport between farms. The annual maintenance for the LTracks Blueberry Harvester is minimal similar to all other BEI blueberry harvesters.
