BEI International, LLC is a leader in manufacturing build to order agricultural harvesters. We manufacture harvesters to harvest blueberries, jatropha, raspberries, grapes, currants, saskatoon’s, jojoba, coffee and chili peppers to name a few. This 50 plus year old company is aggressively embracing innovations. We are improving all of our harvester’s designs and adding new innovations. Our new CSS (Centipede Scale System) is a tremendous innovation to greatly reduce ground loss. The reduction of ground loss is so substantial that it pays for the CSS in a very short period of time.
The blueberry growers are the cornerstone of our business. We are very focused on providing what the blueberry grower needs. Our blueberry harvesters are built to order and can be very specific to a growers needs. Our blueberry harvesters are built to last a very long time. We have many growers who are still using 1974 harvesters. With all the recent new plantings of blueberry bushes we are experiencing a lot of new opportunities.
Our blueberry harvesters are not only the most industrial harvesters; they are also the fastest harvesters. Our SOHL (Sway Overhead Loading) harvester can efficiently harvest at 3 mph. Additionally, our harvesters have the best conveyor systems. We transition the fruit a minimal number of times. Our conveyor system is very gentle with the berries.
Our introduction of the new BEI rotary blueberry harvesters for the 2009 harvesting season is very exciting. We have designed a rotary head that is highly adjustable and very efficient. The new rotary head is available in all harvesters including the LBT (Little Tall Blue) pull-behind.
Our tracks blueberry harvesters have recently been improved. We now use a tracks system fromwww.asvi.com-- ASV is a leader in tracks systems. BEI now offers blueberry harvesters with three tracks sizes available. On the LT (Little Tracks) a 15” track is provided. On the BT (Big Tracks) a 18” or 24” track is available. The ground speed and load capacity of these tracks systems is excellent for blueberry harvesters.
